St Joseph's School Port Lincoln is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Secondary Teacher with the ability to teach Mathematics, Science, English, or a combination of these subjects. This role involves working with students in Years 7-12, supporting their academic growth and overall wellbeing.

The Role

Secondary Teacher (7-12)

Subjects: Mathematics, Science and English (one or combination of subjects)

12-month contract, commencing January 2026 (Term 1)

We’re seeking a Secondary Teacher who will:

Deliver engaging and differentiated learning experiences across all Key Learning Areas, grounded in faith, hope, respect, and love, in line with our Josephite tradition.

Support students with diverse gifts, talents, and learning needs, collaborating with the Curriculum Coordinator and Leader of Learning.

Establish a nurturing, faith‑centred, and academically stimulating classroom environment that supports wellbeing and encourages students to become confident, respectful contributors to our global society.

Apply effective assessment and reporting practices that foster student growth and constructive feedback for both students and families.

Contribute to pastoral care, sharing our core values and embracing St Mary MacKillop's philosophy to, "Never see a need without doing something about it".

Work collaboratively with colleagues in curriculum development, team teaching, and continuous professional learning to support excellence in teaching and learning.

Participate in school activities, co-curricular programs, and whole-school events.

Previous experience teaching SACE Stage 1 & 2 is desirable but not necessary.

Working with Children Check (WWCC)

First Aid Certificate (HLTAID012)

RRHAN-EC Master Class Certificate
