$35.17 - $38.37 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
We are currently seeking passionate and keen Youth Worker to join our PCYC Hervey Bay Youth Club for our Get Set For Work Program. If you are enthusiastic and have a gusto for increasing youth involvement in programs and events, then we want you!
The Get Set for Work Program is a State Government initiative that aims to provide skills to high school aged youth to enable them to successfully transition to further education or employment.

Your New Role
Reporting to the Youth Club Program Manager, you will research, plan implement and evaluate programs and activities that promote and increase participation of young people and meet the needs of the Queensland Governments – Skilling Queenslanders for Work – Get Set For Work initiative. The role will work towards the Association’s mission of improving communities through youth development. About You
- Minimum Certificate III in youth work, community development/welfare, human services or related discipline or equivalent level of experience in social and community sector
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in undertaking the range of activities required
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build relationships with stakeholders including young people from diverse backgrounds
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)
