About the role

JRE Contracting PTY LTD is seeking an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team in Townsville, QLD. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic company within the road transport industry.

What you'll be doing

Operate multi combination (MC) vehicles in a safe and responsible manner

Deliver goods and materials to various locations within and around Townsville and out of town

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness

Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation

Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and company safety policies

What we're looking for

Current MC driver's licence

Minimum 2 years' experience driving heavy vehicles in the road transport industry

Strong knowledge of road rules and traffic regulations

Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safe driving practices

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills
