Opportunity: My client is a 5 Partner firm, 10km from the CBD, very easily accessible via train, tram and with free car parking for staff. They are looking for a senior accountant to join their fun, friendly and progressive team.

What to expect

• You will get to work closely with all 5 Partners.
• You will be working directly with clients and be a direct report for a team of 2-3 juniors.
• You will get supported by senior professionals and other financial specialists to develop a well-rounded skill set for managing staff, and complex business services client issues.
• Tax compliance and financial reporting for all entity types across a broad client base.
• Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies.
• Participating in internal and external training programs.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

To be considered you will have most of the following:

• CA/CPA qualification or near completion.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Australian public practice accounting firm.
• Experience working with companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Experience preparing tax returns, financial statements, BAS, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
