At Solahart Wollongong, we’re proud to be a local, family-owned business serving the Illawarra community. We’re not a faceless corporation – we’re a passionate team dedicated to helping households lower their energy bills and embrace sustainable living.

Over the years, we’ve installed hundreds of solar power systems, hot water units, batteries, and EV chargers across the region – and we’re just getting started.

Our team includes four friendly and experienced admins who keep operations running smoothly, two skilled installation crews who bring the technical expertise, and a supportive mix of design, sales, and service professionals. Together, we’ve built a workplace culture that balances professionalism with a down-to-earth, supportive atmosphere. We back each other, celebrate our wins, and know how to share a laugh along the way.

Qualifications

Electrical Licence

SAA Solar Accreditation (or commitment to achieving)

SAA Battery Accreditation (or commitment to achieving)

Working at heights (preferred)

White card (preferred)

Electrical Safety Course (preferred)

Experience

Preference for mid level electrician (1 to 5 years) with a working knowledge of home energy generation and management systems. In general, we're looking for someone with a good level of residential experience with an open mind to learning and contributing to team-based outcomes. Noting we do also search for an experienced apprentice in solar installation. Solar roofers are also welcomed to apply.
