Posted 7 days ago
With the launch of the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program as of 1 November 2025, MS Queensland is committed to expanding its services as a specialist provider with expertise in neurological conditions across Queensland. As part of the CoAct network, our focus is on choice, personalised support, and community-based solutions for people with disability, injury, or health conditions.
This role is about more than job placement, it’s about building inclusive communities, one opportunity at a time through connected supports as a provider with expertise in neurological conditions, we are uniquely positioned to support this community. Do you thrive in a role that blends strategic employer engagement with personalised client support? If so, we invite you to apply to join our team as a full time EDC.
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the Specialist MS and Other Acquired Neurological Conditions Program, supporting clients who are seeking employment and requiring specialist support during employment. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping individuals with neurological conditions achieve meaningful, sustainable employment outcomes in the Bundaberg location.
Your Impact:
As an EDC, you’ll spark real change by connecting clients with inclusive employers. You’ll blend coaching, reverse marketing, and ongoing support to unlock potential, break down barriers, and create job opportunities that truly fit. How?
By delivering personalised 1:1 support, you help clients navigate job searches, overcome employment barriers, and stay successfully placed.
By onboarding clients with care, you conduct assessments and co-create Job Plans that reflect their goals, strengths, and capacity.
By staying connected, you guide Career Action Plans and work alongside clinicians to maintain engagement and holistic support.
By coaching through workshops and mock interviews, you build client confidence in resumes, interview skills, and workplace expectations.
By fostering employer relationships, you promote client strengths and champion inclusive hiring through wage subsidies and workplace adjustments.
By managing applications and documentation, you ensure wage subsidies and Job Access supports are delivered accurately and compliantly.
Your Standout Qualities & Experience:
You bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience in employment services, disability support, or community work—and it shows in the way you connect with people.
You’ve got the credentials (relevant Cert IV or higher is a big plus), but it’s your passion for inclusive employment that really sets you apart.
You understand the real-world barriers people with disabilities face, and you’re driven to help break them down.
Your communication is clear, your empathy is genuine, and your problem-solving skills are second nature.
You thrive both independently and as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
You’re tech-savvy, confident with Microsoft Office, and know your way around employment systems like JobReady.
To join us, you’ll need to complete key compliance checks including NDIS screening, a Blue Card, National police clearance, and NDIS worker training.
