Position Overview
The Junior IT Support role provides frontline technical assistance to a diverse team, helping resolve hardware and software issues, supporting system installations, and maintaining user accounts. The role also contributes to IT and telephony system upkeep, user training, documentation, and the development of IT policies and procedures.
This role is part time 3 days per week that can be worked flexibly Mon-Fri standard business hours.
Key responsibilities and duties
• Providing IT support to users (hardware and software)
• Troubleshoot IT issues and escalate where required
• Assisting the IT team with installation, configuration of IT systems
• Setup and maintenance of user accounts
• Provide training to users
• Assist with maintaining and organising IT systems
• Assist with development of policies and procedures related to IT
• Prepare IT training content
• Support access control systems
• Provide telephony support, including setup and troubleshooting of phone systems

Key Selection Criteria
• Experience providing IT support
• Qualifications or currently undertaking studies in IT
• Demonstrated and strong skills in IT
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Advanced skills and understanding of Microsoft 365
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take initiative
• Demonstrated excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer support skills
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Ability to work flexible work hours during standard business days
• Experiencing using Medical Practice Software (Best Practice)
• Skills in cybersecurity awareness and best practices
