Cleaner / Care Service Worker - Home Care Central Coast NSW
This is an exciting Casual opportunity for a friendly cleaner to join our team. This role is an integral part of developing RetireAustralia to become one of the leaders in the industry, placing our residents at the centre of everything we do. Your role will embrace and support our residents with housekeeping and general domestic cleaning duties working within our Tarragal Glen, Wood Glen, Forrester’s Beach and Glengara retirement villages located in Erina, Forresters Beach and Tumbi Umbi, Central Coast NSW.
We are seeking a motivated person to make a positive impact and become part of our close-knit team, as well as embrace the chance to be a source of support and comfort for our residents. Casual position – working 0 to 20 hours per week
Candidates holding Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent) will be considered for additional shifts working Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
The position
Reporting to the Home Care Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing high quality cleaning services in residential areas
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and customer service
- Reporting and recording any maintenance issues in both residential apartments and common areas
- Maintaining privacy and confidentiality
- Assisting within other areas as required
- Following all Workplace, Health and Safety standards and reporting any safety or security concerns
We’re on the lookout for someone with:
- Demonstrated similar domestic or commercial cleaning skills and experience
- Experience in working within the retirement industry an advantage
- Strong communication skills to build rapport with a diverse range of people
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent) desirable
- Full Drivers Licence, Comprehensive Insurance and Reliable Transport
- National Police Check (or ability to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain)
- Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical assessment including Drug and Alcohol Testing
