Nurse Next Door is a premium home care service provider that enables people to live a fulfilling life at home, regardless of age or ability. We are dedicated to delivering flexible in-home nursing and care options to those in the Aged Care and Disability sector.
Caregiving can include 2 hour minimum daily morning and afternoon visits and up to 10 hour visits with clients.

About the Role
Making Lives Better® and Happier Ageing® is at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.
We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.
Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 6 months of caregiving experience in aged care, disability support, or healthcare settings
Ability to assist with mobility, transfers, and personal care tasks requiring physical fitness
Australian Drivers License and reliable car
Passionate about making a difference
Rights to work in Australia
Smart mobile phone
Current CPR & First Aid Certification (HLTAID011 & HLTAID009 or equivalent)
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or equivalent qualification
AHPRA Registration (where applicable)
Working With Children Check
NDIS Worker Screening Approval
NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
Excellent written and verbal skills
Skills & Experience
Community caregiving would be an advantage
Subacute and disability experience
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to the Care Designer
Ability to redirect or deescalate behaviours
Diabetes management
Dementia experience would be an advantage
Leadership experience is an advantage
Responsibilities
Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
Deliver care following the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
May include: personal care, social support, meal preparation, medication assistance, respite care, domestic assistance, transport to appointments and shopping
