Anderson Tiling & Waterproofing is a small family-owned tiling business servicing residential and commercial projects in Far North Queensland. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality finishes and exceptional customer service to our clients. Due to growing demand, we’re looking for a skilled and reliable Floor and Wall Tiler to join our dynamic team.

The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Floor and Wall Tiler to work on a variety of projects, residential and some commercial tiling jobs. You’ll be responsible for preparing surfaces, laying tiles, grouting, and ensuring a flawless finish that meets our clients’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Measuring, setting out and cutting tiles to fit specific areas

Preparing surfaces by leveling, cleaning, and applying adhesives

Installing ceramic, porcelain, mosaic, or stone tiles on floors and walls

Grouting and sealing tiles for durability and aesthetics

Collaborating with clients, builders, and other tradespeople

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

What We’re Looking For:

Trade qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling (Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling or equivalent)

Minimum 2+ years of hands-on tiling experience

Own tools and reliable transport (preferred)

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)

ABN (if applying as a subcontractor)

Competitive salary ($110K to $120K per year depending on experience)

We have an FNQ Labour Agreement, and can sponsor a suitable qualified non-resident floor and wall tiler for up to 5 years
