About You
• A passion for the family-centred model and enthusiasm for working with caregivers towards progression.
• Creativity and a love for engaging young children in meaningful therapy sessions.
• A positive team-player who’s equally confident working independently and respects workplace harmony.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
A current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner’s Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
A current RRHAN-EC and Working with Children Check
A current First Aid and CPR qualification
Open Australian driver’s licence
Based in Australia
What Your Typical Day Will Look Like
• Providing 1-to-1 therapy to clients in our centre and in schools, guided by collaborative, family-centred goals.
• Designing, conducting, and reviewing individual therapy sessions, clearly communicating intervention plans and outcomes with families, and adjusting plans to keep children engaged.
• Collaborating closely with each child’s care team (carers, educators, and other professionals) to ensure skills generalisation and monitor progress.
• Maintaining a professional, friendly approach in interactions with team members and stakeholders.
• Documenting clinical notes and client progress
