Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as HR Forklift Drivers, working at our blue-chip client sites in the dairy and food industry, located in Tullamarine, Campbellfield, and Thomastown.

As an HR Forklift Driver, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the warehouse and production areas, often working in cold environments of around 5°C. Your responsibilities will include safely operating high reach forklifts to move, load, and unload materials, ensuring products are handled efficiently and accurately, and supporting the overall manufacturing process. Your contribution will help maintain smooth operations and high-quality standards in the production of dairy and food products.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate high reach forklifts in warehouse and production areas.

Move, load, and unload materials, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Safely handle products stored on racks up to 8 meters high.

Work in cold environments (around 5°C) while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.

Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly and consistently.

Assist with stock rotation, inventory counts, and warehouse organization.

Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies.

Report any equipment issues, hazards, or incidents to supervisors promptly.

What We’re Looking For:

Minimum of 2 years continuous experience as a High Reach Forklift (HR FL) driver.

Comfortable working in chiller environments of up to 5°C.

Ability to get on and off the forklift as required by supervisors throughout the shift.

Experience handling products stored on racks up to 8 meters high.

Experience operating electric forklifts in a food manufacturing environment.

Strong commitment to safety first, following all company policies, GMP, and PPE requirements.

Flexible to work shifts from 6:00am to 3:00pm and 3:00pm to 11:00pm.

Reliable, motivated, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
