Fuse Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Meat Process Worker to join a fast-paced production facility in Villawood, working with premium jerky and shredded pork products.

The Client:
A Food distribution company based in Villawood, specialising in authentic Asian food products.

For You:

• Monday to Friday role
• 8am – 4:30pm working hours
• $33 p/hr + Super
• Free onsite parking
• Initial 5-week role with possibility of extension

The Roles duties:
In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of food processing tasks, including:

• Receiving, storing, and preparing raw meat materials
• Operating food processing and packaging machinery
• Cutting, trimming, mixing, and weighing meat products
• Assembling, packaging, and labelling food items
• Monitoring cooking temperatures
• Counting and recording stock
• Preparing meat products for cooking
• Following strict hygiene and food safety protocols
• Performing cleaning and sanitisation of work areas and equipment
• Monitoring quality, temperature control, and compliance
• Recording batch and production data
• Use of weighing equipment and scales
• Packaging and labelling final products
• General maintenance and preventative checks on equipment
• Clean downs of your workstation and following sanitisation procedures

Experience required:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:

Essential:

• Previous experience in food production role dealing with meat products
• Must be able to handle pork products
• Physically fit – able to lift, stand, and move throughout the shift
• Able to follow food safety, hygiene, and OHS guidelines
• Basic Mathematics and reading comprehension skills
• Previous experience using weighing and scales equipment
• Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices to ensure the highest quality of products.
• Basic machine operation skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Advantageous:

• Current Food Handler’s Certificate
• Experience using industrial kitchen or processing equipment
• Understanding of QA processes and documentation
• Valid NSW Forklift license (pay rate will increase if operating a forklift)
