We are currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join an engineering stores team in the Matraville/Botany area. This role is based at an industrial plant and involves both general store duties and support during a major stocktake project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in a key support role during a critical stocktake period. You’ll be joining a collaborative team in a well-organised industrial environment, with a strong possibility of long-term engagement.

• Working hours of 7am to 3:30pm
• Monday to Friday role
• $40 p/hr + super
• Free onsite parking
• Temp to Perm for the right candidate

The Role:

As a Store Person your Responsibilities will Include:

• Receiving deliveries and unloading containers (shipments arrive in the mornings)
• Goods receipting and issuing via SAP
• General warehouse duties and cleaning
• Operating both counterbalance and high reach Forklifts
• High reach up to 6 racks high
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Replenishments and put aways of stock
• Supporting daily operations with a senior storeperson during a 3-month stocktake
• RF Scanning of stock
• Pick packing duties
• Computer data entry of receipted goods
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers
• Manually palletising stock
• Pallet jack usage
• Shrink wrapping pallets

What We’re Looking For:
To be successful in obtaining this role you will have the following experience:

• Current LF forklift licence (counterbalance and high reach experience is essential)
• Prior experience in warehousing or stores environments
• SAP experience is highly desirable but not essential
• Experience operating High Reach forklifts up to 6 racks high
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and containers
• RF Scanning experience
• Pick packing experience
• Palletising stock
• Shrink wrapping (Both manual and machine operated)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently while supporting a busy engineering stores environment
• Excellent WHS knowledge
• Heavy lifting up to 20 kgs

This role will be interviewing onsite in Matraville next week and starting on Tuesday the 7th of October!
