Senior Auto Electrician – 7:7 Roster

Roster: FIFO or DIDO 7:7 from Brisbane | Cairns | Townsville

About the Role: Join our team as a Dual Trade AE & HD with a top-tier client, ensuring optimal performance of electrical systems and equipment at their mining sites. You will be pivotal in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing the electrical systems on a range of HME to ensure operations continue efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical System Maintenance: Undertake preventative maintenance tasks to a high standard, including system overhauls. Ensure all mining electrical systems and equipment operate at peak efficiency.

Troubleshoot and Repair: Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical and air-conditioning related issue and faults

Team Collaboration: Support the onsite maintenance team with any electrical-related issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Breakdown Response: Provide support to address and rectify urgent electrical issues as they arise.

What You Need:

Certificate III in Auto Electrical Trade & HD Fitter Trade

Australian Refrigerate Handling License

Additional certifications such as Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform are essential.

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, with expertise in automotive electrical systems, including experience with mining machinery and equipment.

Direct experience in mining operations is ESSENTIAL, with a strong focus on auto electrical tasks.

Experience on Caterpillar machinery (haul trucks, loaders, dozers)

Experience executing mid-life overhauls is desirable
