Stuart Park Child Care Centre – Early Childhood Teacher

We are a community based not-for-profit Long Day Care Centre that has been a part of the Stuart Park community for more than 30 years. We looking for a passionate and motivated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team.

Applicant must have

Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Teaching)

OCHRE card (WWC check)

Child Protection Qualification

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Certificate

Availability to work between 7:15am and 5:45pm 5 days per week

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Proactive in implementing a play-based curriculum

A bright, friendly and enthusiastic attitude

Dedicated to developing the future of our children

Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)

About your day:

Ensure that a developmentally & educationally appropriate play-based program is planned & implemented for each child

Maintain effective communication with parents of each child

Maintain a positive working relationship with all team members

Maintain and manage the resources for your room

Ensure health & safety standards are maintained at a high level at all times
