At Behome, we provide a unique long-term home for young international travellers, with stays of a minimum of 4 weeks. We pride ourselves on creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment that feels like a real home away from home.

We are looking for a reliable and thorough cleaner to join our dedicated cleaning team. This is a vital role in maintaining the high standards that our guests love and expect.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
Working as part of a team of three full-time cleaners, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of our two properties. Your key tasks will include:

Team Cleaning: Collaborating with the team to efficiently clean and prepare capsules after check-outs, ensuring they are spotless for new arrivals.

Maintaining Shared Spaces: Cleaning and sanitising all common areas, including kitchens, lounges, bathrooms, hallways, and outdoor areas to a high standard.

Creating a Welcoming Atmosphere: Paying attention to the small details that make a space feel like a home—Spotless Kitchen, neatly arranged common areas, and a consistently tidy environment.

Reporting: Informing the Hostel Manager of any maintenance issues, inventory needs, or damages in a timely manner.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Details:

Hours: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day. Weekend availability is essential.

Schedule: Shifts are scheduled on a rotating roster

Location: You will be required to work at both of our Behome locations.

Reporting: You will report directly to the Hostel Manager.

Pay: $30 plus GST per hour or equivalent salary
