About the Role

A modern cardiac catheterisation lab offering advanced interventional cardiology services. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art imaging and monitoring technology, supporting a wide range of procedures including angiograms, stenting, and other minimally invasive cardiac interventions.

• Patient assessment and monitoring (vital signs, ECG, hemodynamics)
• Preparing patients for procedures, including sedation and contrast administration
• Assisting with angiograms, stenting, pacemaker insertion, and other interventional procedures
• Fluoroscopy and imaging equipment operation awareness and safety training
• Aseptic technique and strict infection control
• Handling specialized catheters, guidewires, and stents
• Administering medications safely
• Emergency response, including ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

What You'll Need

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (unrestricted)
• Essential - Minimum 12 months' recent experience in Cardiac Cath Labs
• Desirable - experience working within QLD and ieMR experience
• Current Police Check and Full Australian Working Rights - Sponsorship not available for this role.
• Adaptability, strong clinical skills, and a collaborative approach
• Willingness to travel and commit to 4-12 week contracts
