Temporary Part-time (6-month contract)
25 hours a week
Hours: Monday to Friday, between 4:00 AM and 11:00 AM (varying finish times depending on the day)
Attractive Salary: $30.55 - $35.51 per hour + 12% Superannuation +Additional penalty allowances may be applicable

What you'll do
As a Cleaner you will report to the Building Maintenance Facilities Officer and be responsible for delivering high-quality cleaning and hygiene services across Council infrastructure assets and facilities. In this role you will need to ensure cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards are consistently maintained in accordance with Council protocols. You'll be required to perform a range of routine and deep cleaning tasks, monitor supply levels, and report maintenance or safety issues as needed.

What you'll need to succeed
Minimum two years' experience in residential or commercial cleaning, with comprehensive knowledge of safe chemical handling techniques, cross contamination risks and hygiene measures.
Proven ability to facilitate safe and competent use of chemicals and equipment.
Demonstrated ability in the use of computer applications, and operating devices effectively, embracing digital solutions for working activities to enable systems to facilitate day- to-day operations.
Hold a current C Class driver's license and Safe Handling of Chemicals certificate.
Other requirements
Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical prior to commencement.
Be willing to have a complete immunisation record of Hepatitis A, B and Tetanus
Be willing to participate in on-call roster and overtime (where applicable)
