Detail X (formerly Dankor) is a fully remote architectural practice with an 18-year track record and a team of 20 architects. We design and deliver our own projects, and also support other architectural firms with overflow work across Australia and the United States. Our portfolio spans commercial, residential, and educational sectors.
We are also the team behind RevitCourse — Australia’s leading Revit training provider, with training centres in Melbourne and Sydney. With thousands of architects trained, RevitCourse has played a major role in Australia’s world-leading adoption of Revit.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to combine architectural project work with delivering professional Revit training. You'll be a key contributor to our design studio and also play a vital role in upskilling architects across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
As an Architect:
Work on a variety of architectural projects across sectors and locations.
Collaborate within project teams and take on leadership roles as you grow in the role.
Manage and mentor a team of up to five architects (following onboarding and training in our systems).
Ensure project milestones and quality standards are consistently met.
As a Revit Trainer:
Deliver in-person Revit training sessions bi-monthly at our centres in Melbourne and Sydney.
Use our comprehensive course materials to guide students through structured learning programs.
Share your passion for Revit and empower fellow architects to master the software.

About You
Must-Have Qualifications:
Registered Architect or Graduate Architect with minimum 4 years’ experience
Advanced Revit skills – confident, efficient, and detail-focused
Strong documentation experience, especially in residential and commercial sectors
Excellent communication and presentation skills
A passion for teaching and knowledge sharing
An interest in leadership and team development
Your Workday Might Include:
Collaborating with remote colleagues on a mixed-use development in the U.S.
Checking drawing sets for documentation consistency before a DA submission.
Leading a team huddle with junior architects to assign weekly tasks.
Flying to interstate to run a two-day RevitCourse workshop with 10 students.
Providing thoughtful feedback on architectural presentations.
