We're looking for a hands-on Store Manager to lead our team and grow our business.

About You

You bring a genuine passion for healthy, happy dogs and cats—and the people who love them. You're great with customers, confident managing a small team, and you love keeping things running smoothly. You have a knack for sales and problem-solving, and the independence to make smart day-to-day decisions.
You proactively develop your and your team's knowledge in holistic health, wellbeing, and animal-centric behaviour to improve the quality of life of our customers' pets. Merchandising and warehousing experience, plus knowledge of holistic health, are a bonus—but your enthusiasm, people skills, and retail know-how are what really count.

What You'll Do

Lead, motivate, and support staff to deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

Drive purpose-driven sales and build lasting customer relationships.

Keep store processes and systems running at their best.

Take initiative to solve problems quickly and keep things on track.

Maintain a welcoming environment where animals and their humans feel safe and nurtured.

Be tech-savvy with POS, Shopify, subscriptions, and loyalty platforms (or learn quickly).

Selection Criteria

Professionally or personally, demonstrate a passion for holistic animal health and welfare, with an animal-centric viewpoint.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to drill into customers issues and provide solutions to their problems to build trust and loyalty.

1-3 years' experience in staff supervision and process management, including mentoring and developing less-experienced team members.

Proven sales ability with a track record of creating positive customer experiences, where most sales are repeat / consumables.

Ability to problem-solve, take initiative, and work independently in managing day-to-day operations.
Bonus: Merchandising/warehousing and/or specialist pet health/nutrition knowledge / social media skills.
