Explorers School of Early Learning is a locally operated childcare centre looking to expand our regular casual Educator pool. As a service, we are dedicated to fostering curiosity and confidence in young explorers so they get the best start in life. The opportunity

As an Educator at Explorers, you will play a vital role in delivering an enriching learning programme within our service. You will build meaningful relationships with children and families, ensuring their individual needs are met while working collaboratively with your team to create a supportive and nurturing environment.

As an Casual Relief Educator, your responsibilities will include:

Providing high-quality care and support to children in line with our philosophy and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues during your shifts.

Supporting the delivery of engaging learning experiences planned by the regular teaching team, and contributing your own ideas when appropriate.

Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children, both indoors and outdoors.

Following daily routines and transitions smoothly, ensuring consistency for children.

Adhering to centre policies and procedures to uphold safety, health, and wellbeing.

Collaborating with the permanent team by stepping into different rooms or age groups as required, demonstrating adaptability and professionalism.

About you

You are an experienced Educator with genuine enthusiasm for and deep commitment to early childhood education. You bring high energy, a love for nature-based play, and the ability to connect with and nurture children through their developmental journey.

You will demonstrate:

Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services (Bachelor qualified also eligible)

Current Working With Children Check (WWCC), First Aid Certificate and CPR

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a cohesive team

Sound understanding of early childhood development and the EYLF
