Our Position

Rockcote is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse / Sales Assistant to join our newly created Hillcrest store! Our Trade Hub is a direct point of contact for trade professionals and other customers to collect orders and gain product information on our paints, coatings, and application tools.

This position is full-time, working 76 hours per fortnight. The store operates Monday to Friday from 6:30am to 3:30pm, with staff on a set roster to cover these hours. As this is a new store, we will offer flexible work arrangements, including rostered day off (RDO), once operations are fully established

About You

This versatile position requires a customer service superstar with capabilities in warehousing. Ideally, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

Personable and able to provide excellent customer service, both in-person and over the phone.

Experience with Point-of-Sale system would be an advantage.

Able to manage stock movements effectively.

Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks including lifting bags and buckets up to 25kgs.

Experience operating a forklift, including loading and unloading trucks, is desirable

Colour matching and tinting experience will be well regarded, though training will be provided.

Knowledge of render, texture and paint products is an advantage, but not mandatory.

Willing to assist with in-store displays, store presentation and general housekeeping.

Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced and hands on.

Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs – Word, Excel and Outlook.

Drivers licence required to assist with local deliveries, as required.

Forklift licence.
