Healthy Connections is part of Burnie Brae, a vibrant not-for-profit bringing a wide range of community services to life - from transport and homecare to allied health and engaging member activities. At our Chermside clinic, we deliver multidisciplinary allied health services both in-clinic and in clients’ homes, supporting people across North Brisbane to stay active, healthy, and independent.

About the Role

We’re on the lookout for friendly, energetic Physiotherapists to join our allied health team. This part-time role is flexible - you’ll be able to negotiate your working days (Monday to Friday) and deliver appointments between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, both in-clinic and in the community. As your patient load grows, there’s room to move into full-time if you wish.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide top-quality physiotherapy care in clients’ homes and in our clinic.
  • Use your skills to deliver client-focused treatments that make a real difference.
  • Manage musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, vestibular, and rehab care (bonus points for reformer Pilates experience!).
  • Work alongside a friendly, supportive team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, and Remedial Massage Therapists.
  • Help grow and shape our in-clinic services and explore areas you’re passionate about.
  • Work across multiple funding models including My Aged Care, Home Care Packages, DVA, Medicare, Private, and NDIS.

To be eligible for this role, you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance.
  • New graduates encouraged to apply - salary based on experience.
  • 1–2 years’ experience in private practice, rehab, or community settings desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with NDIS service delivery is a plus.
  • Empathetic, patient, and friendly, with excellent communication skills.
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
  • Reliable vehicle, current driver’s license, and willingness to travel across Brisbane’s northern suburbs.

We’ve Got Your Back

We know great care starts with great staff. That’s why we make sure you feel confident and supported with ongoing coaching and development opportunities.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us:

  • Be part of a close-knit, supportive allied health team.
  • Shape your caseload around your interests and expertise.
  • Take part in monthly in-house professional development sessions (with cake included!).
  • Join fortnightly team meetings designed for collaboration - and a bit of fun.
  • Explore opportunities for career growth, learning, and progression in a supportive environment.
