ROLE:

• Manual machining of industrial components including shafts, housings, flanges, and couplings
• Work on a wide range of parts used in electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce high-precision parts
• Operate lathes, mills, and other machine shop tools
• Work alongside fitters and electricians to complete complex repairs
• Maintain high safety and quality standards across all tasks

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

We're looking for a motivated and reliable trades person who takes pride in quality workmanship and has experience in a similar heavy industrial setting.

You will need:

• Trade qualification (Fitter Machinist, Toolmaker, or similar)
• Solid experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
• Ability to read and work from technical/engineering drawings
• A proactive and safety-conscious approach to your work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Full working rights in Australia
