About the Role

We are currently seeking Roofers with relevant experience and industry exposure for a project in Mt Isa. The position offered as casual however the roster is 2:1 - flying in and out from Brisbane or driving in and out from Mt Isa.

Responsibilities

Measuring, cutting, and installing metal roof sheeting cladding and rainwater goods

Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes and safety standards

Collaborating with the project management team to coordinate installations

Roof Repairs, Washing & Painting

Box Gutters

Flashings

Downpipes

Sheeting

Fascia & Gutters

Ridges

Skills and Experience

Essential Criteria (what's required):

Trade qualified - Certificate III in Roof Plumbing or Roof Tiling

Must be experienced in commercial roofing and wall cladding

Confident with flashings and finishing.

Ability to work well in a team in remote areas

Strong commitment towards safety and quality

Motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude

Hold a current manual driver's licence

Construction (White) Card

Either has or be prepared to obtain a current Working at Heights ticket (issued within 2 years)

Either has or be prepared to obtain a current Confined Space ticket (issued within 2 years)

Forklift and EWP are desirable however not essential

Ability to pass a medical and D&A screen
