Lovett Construction Group is a growing building company based in the Blue Mountains. We deliver high-quality residential projects including decks, pergolas, renovations, cladding upgrades, and new builds, with ongoing home development projects

We’re looking for a skilled Drafter to join our team and support our design, estimating, and construction workflows. This is an opportunity to work closely with directors, carpenters, and clients on a wide range of projects, from bespoke renovations through to new housing systems.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate 2D and 3D drawings for residential projects using Revit/AutoCAD (or similar).

Translate design concepts and engineering specifications into detailed documentation.

Work with directors to develop job packs for site teams – including plans, elevations, sections, and details.

Coordinate drawings with consultants (engineers, certifiers, surveyors).

Maintain drawing revisions, ensuring compliance with the NCC, Australian Standards, and local council requirements.

Create shop drawings for custom joinery, steel, and precast elements.

Collaborate with our on-site teams to resolve design or construction issues.

About You

Qualification in Building Design / Drafting / Architecture or equivalent (preferred but not required)

Proficient in Revit (preferred) or AutoCAD, with solid knowledge of documentation standards.

Attention to detail with the ability to produce clear, accurate, and buildable drawings.

Strong communication skills to liaise with trades, suppliers, and consultants.

Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
