Kelly's Place Children's Centre is a community based centre located in Crows Nest. Our well established, highly regarded centre is offering the rare opportunity for an innovative, experienced passionate Certificate III Educator to join our close knit team working in the preschool group.

We offer above award wages, conditions and high adult to child ratios.

Hourly pay between $29 and $34 per hour depending on qualification and experience

The position is 6 hours per day 11.30-5.30pm , 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday) = 24 hours per week.

This is a contract role will 19 December 2025 with possible extension for 2025.

To be considered for the role you will need:

a Certificate III in Early Childhood or actively working towards

a current Working With Children Check

approved Child Protection training

approved First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training

approved Food Handlers Certificate

The role also requires:

an understanding of The National Quality Framework (A & R) and the Early Years Learning Framework version 2

understanding of and respect for child protection principles and the Child Safe Standards

a commitment to inclusive practices

a passion for play based learning

team work communication skills

motivation
