About the role

Join Havendoor mental health and disability support services as an NDIS Support Coordinator, working part-time in our Dubbo, NSW office. In this role, you will play a vital part in coordinating and advocating for the care needs of our clients with disabilities, ensuring they receive the personalised support and services they require to live independently.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with clients, their families, and healthcare providers to develop tailored NDIS plan and coordinate the delivery of support services

Advocate on behalf of clients to access appropriate NDIS funding and liaise with the NDIA to ensure their needs are met

Monitor and review clients' NDIS plans, adjusting services as required to achieve desired outcomes

Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of disability service providers

Provide guidance and emotional support to clients and their families throughout the NDIS process

Maintain detailed client records and documentation to ensure compliance with NDIS requirements

What we're looking for

Relevant tertiary qualification in disability services, social work, or a related field

Minimum 2 years' experience in an NDIS support coordination or case management role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathise and build trust with clients

Strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Thorough understanding of the NDIS system, funding guidelines, and relevant legislation

Proficient in using NDIS participant management software and Microsoft Office suite

Willingness to travel within the local area to meet with clients

Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
