The Injury Centre is a multi-disciplinary service providing both urgent and follow-up care for patients with musculoskeletal injuries such as fractures, sprains and strains. We provide an urgent access alternative to an Emergency Department visit and ongoing specialist follow-up in our in-house Fracture Clinic and Hand Clinics for upper and lower limb trauma. Our clinics have on-site radiology to expedite patient treatment and operate Monday-Friday 10:00am – 6:00pm.
The Injury Centre has been operating since 2018 and operates two practice locations in Sydney. Due to a growing demand for our service, we are looking to grow our team of expert Physiotherapists. The successful Physiotherapist will work in partnership with our friendly and supportive team of Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeons, Specialist Hand Surgeons, Specialist Emergency Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physiotherapists and administrative team.
The successful Physiotherapist will:
Work as part of an expert team providing initial assessment and management of common musculoskeletal injuries of the upper and lower limbs
Deliver ongoing treatment, monitoring and management of musculoskeletal injuries as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Apply various methods of immobilisation including CAM Walkers, ROM Braces, thermoplastic splints, POP/synthetic casting, back-slab & slings
Essential Criteria:
Registered as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA with no restrictions on your practice
Eligible for a Medicare Provider Number with no restrictions on Private Health Insurance billing privileges
A valid Driver Licence
Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
Willing to work as a part of a team to meet patient care needs with excellent time management skills
The Injury Centre will provide the successful Physiotherapist with:
Full-time Permanent employment (Part-time will be considered)
Competitive remuneration of $45 – $61.75 per hour (plus superannuation), depending on experience
