The Cato Group is seeking a committed part-time Warehouse & Despatch Clerk with proven efficiency and a positive attitude to join our friendly team.

We are an Australian leader in workplace first aid and safety supplies, located in Melbourne's Hawthorn East.

Start Date: Immediate

Days: 3 days (Mon, Thurs, Fri) with the possibility of extending to 4 days

Hours: 7.30am to 3.30pm

Trial Period: 3 months, followed by a performance and pay review

Key duties and responsibilities

Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.

Prepare goods for dispatch, including labelling, wrapping, and documentation.

Book freight and coordinate with couriers or transport providers.

Load and unload trucks and pallets

Ensure orders are dispatched on time and in full.

Replenish warehouse stock and ensure stock rotation within bin locations

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment (if licensed).

Assist in regular stocktakes and cycle counts.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.

Report damaged or missing stock and assist with returns or claims.

Comply with all WHS (Work Health & Safety) regulations and company procedures.

Skills and attributes:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods and paperwork.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Computer proficient at an intermediate level, including Microsoft Office Suite

Physically fit and in good health

Able to lift/move items up to 20kg as required.

Proficient in written and spoken English at a professional working level

Punctual and reliable with a positive work ethic

Efficient at task and time management

Experience and qualifications:

Minimum 1 year experience in a dispatch and/or warehouse role

LF fork lift licence preferred

Knowledge of first aid or medical products an advantage

Current Australian work rights required at time of application
