📍 Shell Chinderah Bay – Chinderah, NSW

We have two casual positions available at Shell Chinderah Bay. Whether you’re an early riser who enjoys food preparation or you’re looking for a strong customer service role, we’d love to hear from you.

Position 1: Kitchen All Rounder (Includes Console Duties)

Shift Details:

3–4 shifts per week

Early starts from 3:45am, including weekends

Early finishes — ideal for early risers

As a Kitchen All Rounder, you’ll take on all the duties of a Console Operator plus play a key role in preparing fresh, high-quality food for our busy store. This role is perfect for someone who’s reliable, organised, and comfortable working early mornings.

Key Responsibilities:

All Console Operator duties (see Position 2: Console Operator below)

Prepare and assemble sandwiches, rolls, wraps, baguettes, salads, and breakfast grill items

Ensure consistency and quality in food preparation

Maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment

Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Assist with daily kitchen operations, including prep work and restocking

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Kitchen or food preparation experience (preferred)

Food safety knowledge or certification

Ability to work efficiently during early mornings and weekends

Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Position 2: Console Operator

Shift Details:

3–4 shifts per week

Morning, afternoon, and evening shifts

Includes both weekday and weekend work

As a Console Operator, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring every visit to Shell Chinderah Bay is a positive one. You’ll handle transactions, assist with general store operations, and keep the site running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the console system efficiently and accurately

Deliver professional, friendly customer service

Process cash and electronic transactions

Monitor fuel pumps and maintain safety and cleanliness

Restock shelves, manage inventory, and keep the store tidy

Assist with serving hot beverages and basic food items

Complete end-of-day procedures (cash-up and site lock-up when rostered)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Previous retail or customer service experience

Reliable, detail-focused, and confident in a busy environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends
