About the Role
The Vein Institute is seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our Braddon, ACT clinic on a casual basis. This role is perfect for someone who would like to supplement their existing position, as it involves set shifts just 2–3 days per month.
You'll work as part of our specialist team to perform venous imaging that supports the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins, in a modern and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform venous ultrasound examinations, including point-of-care scans and detailed diagnostic vein mapping for venous insufficiency.
Provide accurate imaging and reporting to assist with treatment planning.
Deliver a professional and positive experience for patients.
Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinic protocols.
Work collaboratively with our doctors and nurses to deliver coordinated care.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography (or equivalent).
Current ASAR registration.
Minimum 1 years' experience as a Sonographer, ideally with venous/vascular scanning or the ability to perform CVI scans.
Minimum 6 months of venous/vascular scanning experience is required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical quality.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Comfortable working 2–3 fixed days per month alongside your other work.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
