About the Role
Fremantle Football Club have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Dietitian to join our High Performance team. This role will be responsible for the guidance and coordination of successful nutritional performance strategies and other key responsibilities for the AFL & AFLW programs, including but not limited to:
Leadership & Nutrition Guidance: Develop and manage nutrition programs for the AFL Men's team, offering personalised dietary advice and ongoing guidance;
Food Service Management: Plan and organise Club-provided meals and food for training sessions, Game Days, team meals and interstate trips;
Supplementation Management: Advise Players on safe and legal supplement use. Oversee the supplement program in collaboration with Club Doctors;
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records and data of all nutritional interventions and track measurable outcomes.
AFLW Support: Develop nutrition programs for the AFLW Women's team, offering personalised dietary advice and hydration management; and
AFLW Food Service Management: Plan and organise Club-provided meals and food for AFLW Game Days, team meals and interstate trips.
What we're looking for
We are seeking a candidate who holds a current Accredited Sports Dietitian status and are registered with Dietitians Australia. A sound understanding of nutritional aspects of high-performance sports is essential. Proficiency in sports science, familiarity with sports medicine disciplines, sound computer skills and organisational abilities are highly regarded. The flexibility to travel with the team for interstate games is also required.
You will also have:
Undergraduate degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
Post-graduate qualification in sport and exercise or a related discipline
ISAK Level 1 accreditation
Sports Dietitians Australia accreditation
Commitment to professional integrity, with ability to obtain Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
