New Senior Payroll Officer fixed term contract opportunity!

This 3 month fixed term contract Senior Payroll Officer role provides you with the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative and supportive P&C team, working for a high performing international organisation operating within the utilities sector.

You will report into an experienced and knowledgeable HR Director and will offer support to the P&C team.

This 3 month FTC Senior Payroll Officer position is a standalone role where you will focus on processing monthly payroll for 350+ staff using ADP. The role can be split across two locations including greater western Sydney (parking available) and Parramatta CBD (close to public transport). The role offers flexible working from home and the office (3 days in the office, 2 days from home). The salary offering is between C. $120,000 + super depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Payroll processing for 350+ employees on a monthly basis using the ADP payroll system.
• Setting up new starters, amending / updating employee information, answering payroll queries, processing terminations, Super payments, payroll tax, etc.
• Ensure compliance and adherence to all relevant industry awards and stay up to day with any changes to legislation.
• Answering all payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Assisting with year end
• Assisting the P&C team with any ad hoc duties

About You

• 5 + years of previous experience is preferred.
• Experience interpreting complex awards is beneficial
• Knowledge and experience using the ADP payroll system (in-house) is highly regarded but not essential to the role.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
• Being able to operate with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
