Tresillian is opening in Launceston, Tasmania! The new Tresillian Parents and Baby Centre in Launceston is due to be operational by October / November 2025. The Centre will feature both Residential and Day Services.

Tresillian is currently recruiting for Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with Child and Family Health (CFH) post graduate qualifications or working towards CFH qualification (applicants must provide evidence of enrolment and or transcript of course progress) to join the team for our new Facility in Launceston, Tasmania which should be opening October / November 2025.
Tresillian will be opening a new Residential Unit which provides care 24 hours per day, 5 days a week (Monday – Friday) rotating roster and also a Day Services providing care Tuesday to Friday. These positions will be involved in the provision of quality child and family health services to families caring for children 0-3 years of age within a Tresillian service.
The CFH RN/RM will use a strength-based and wellness focus, building on parental confidence and skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance, and role modelling safe responsive care. The CFH clinician, utilising evidenced based screening and assessment tools, uses their family partnership skills to identify health variations or family vulnerabilities to negotiate individual care plans and discharge pathways to meet the goals of the family.
The successful applicant/s will be supported by a comprehensive onboarding programme which includes innovative clinical supervision that will further increase your knowledge and confidence.

Selection Criteria – Applicants must address the Selection Criteria
Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Postgraduate/post registration qualifications in Child and Family Health or working towards (must be enrolled with a tertiary facility and provide evidence of enrolment).
Understanding of, and commitment to, evidence-based practice.
Demonstrated experience in attending to the physical, social, and emotional needs of children, and their families.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of population health and primary health care.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles and skills of working in partnership and within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including computer literacy.
