About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Building Surveyor to join their Tweed Heads office. You’ll work across a mix of residential and commercial projects, carrying out inspections, assessing approvals, and collaborating with an experienced and supportive team.

Duties

• Conduct building inspections across Northern NSW
• Assess and issue approvals for Class 1 & 10 (Class 2–9 advantageous)
• Ensure compliance with NSW building codes & local regulations
• Work collaboratively with surveyors and autonomously as required
• Provide expert advice to clients and stakeholders

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a qualified Building Surveyor in NSW
• BPB Building Inspector/Surveyor licence (or eligibility)
• Current car licence and capacity to travel for inspections
• Experience with Class 1 & 10 approvals and inspections
• Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team
