About the role

Customised Metal Works' is looking for a full-time Yards Person to join our team in Landsdale, Western Australia. As the Yards Person, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of our warehousing and logistics functions, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials and products.

What you'll be doing

Receiving, unloading and sorting incoming goods and materials

Organising and maintaining the storage yard to optimise space utilisation

Assisting with the loading and dispatch of outgoing orders and materials

Performing regular inspections and maintenance of the yard, equipment and facilities

Supporting the wider warehouse and logistics team as needed

Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar warehousing or yards role, preferably within the manufacturing, transport or logistics industry

Excellent organisational and time management skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently

Good physical fitness and stamina to handle manual handling tasks

A valid manual driver's licence and forklift licence is essential.
