Glenaeon is an independent Steiner school offering a holistic curriculum from Preschool to Year 12 that meets and enriches the NSW syllabus requirements.

Our educational philosophy and practice was developed by and evolves out of the work of Rudolf Steiner. Our approach to learning encourages expansive thinking, development of the living spirit and profound connection to the wisdom of the past, realities of the present and possibilities for the future.

As the first Steiner School in Australia, Glenaeon has a fine heritage of pioneering work in innovative education dating back to our origins in 1957. We now educate up to 500 students from Preschool to Year 12 across three campuses at Castlecrag, Middle Cove and Willoughby on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.

In preparation for 2026, we are calling for applications and expressions of interest for the following roles:

· Kindergarten Teacher – Permanent part-time (0.6 load with potential for full-time). Must have Steiner teaching experience.

· Design Technology Teacher – Fixed Term Part-time (0.64 load) Term 1 – Term 3, 2026. Must be able to teach Stage 4 Technology and be proficient using digital tool such as CAD, Adobe Suite. Must have a wide range or workshop experience in materials technologies in Stage 5.

Salary will be in accordance with experience and classification under the Independent Schools NSW (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025. The successful candidate must also provide a Working With Children Clearance prior to commencing.
