About the role

We are seeking an experienced Leading hand and Tradesman/ Metal Roof Plumbers to join the team at Glidevale Roofing in Sydney for 2025, Currently under New Ownership. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the installation of metal roofing systems on large scale projects. As a key member of our construction team, you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality roofing solutions to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Measuring, cutting, and installing metal roof sheeting cladding and rainwater goods
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant building codes and safety standards
• Collaborating with the project management team to coordinate installations
• Providing exceptional customer service and addressing any client concerns
• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a qualified metal roofer or similar trade
• Strong knowledge of metal roofing materials, installation techniques, and safety protocols
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and integrity
• Physical fitness to perform physically demanding work
• EWP over 11m
• Working at heights training
