The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our dynamic team. This is a crucial role where you will not only oversee daily operations but also shape the future of our restaurant. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, committed to service excellence, and ready to drive our success.
What You'll Do
Lead, train, and supervise both front house staff to build a high-performing team that delivers exceptional service.
Collaborate with chefs to plan menus, maintain the authenticity of Chinese cuisine, and introduce innovative seasonal dishes.
Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, including rostering, staff scheduling, floor management, and ensuring smooth service during peak hours.
Plan and organise special functions, events, and promotional activities to attract and retain customers.

Monitor inventory levels, maintain records of stock and financial transactions, and implement effective cost-control strategies to maximise profitability.
Ensure dining facilities are clean, functional, compliant with Australian workplace, health, and food safety regulations, and of suitable appearance.
Build strong guest relationships by providing personalised recommendations, explaining dish origins, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain loyalty and positive reputation.
Oversee reservations and guest seating arrangements, and when necessary, assist in greeting guests and taking orders to ensure a seamless dining experience.
What You'll Bring
A Diploma or higher qualification in Hospitality Management or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role, ideally within an Asian or Chinese dining environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and develop a team.
Strong commercial acumen, with a solid understanding of rostering, budgeting, and stock control.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
In-depth knowledge of Australian workplace health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
If you are a passionate leader ready to make your mark, we would love to hear from you. A resume is required.
