- Multiple permanent full-time and part-time positions
- Positions available in surgical ward areas including Trauma & Ortho, ENT & Vascular Surgery. Contracts are for 7 day rosters rotating across all shifts - no set days or shifts.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at this level, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing and/or midwifery care within a supportive and dynamic health service environment. This role offers the opportunity to develop from a novice practitioner to a proficient clinician, consolidating your knowledge and skills while contributing to positive patient outcomes. You will engage in continuous professional development, learning from experienced colleagues, and applying best-practice standards to enhance your professional practice.
In this role, you will take accountability for your own nursing or midwifery standards and for the safe delegation of tasks to others, ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care. Key Attributes:
Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing Board of Australia and holding (or eligible for) a current practising certificate
Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage workload effectively
Creative, flexible, and innovative in approach, with a demonstrated commitment to consumer and family-centred care
Sound knowledge of nursing practice standards, relevant legislation, codes of ethics, and quality improvement systems within healthcare
