About the role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanic to join our team at Claassen Mechanical service (CMS) in Rockingham.

This is a full time or casual

position for the right candidate, we are open to flexible options.

We work hard and fix s##t - real mechanics. If you want to learn from a couple of keen old boys who have many many years experiance in light and heavy vehicles and mobile equipment, come on down and see us.

We play hard -BBQ and freezer rotate.

As part of the team you will be working in a friendly can-do environment and be responsible for the repair and maintenance of light trucks, occasionally cars, 4wds , fork lifts, and generally some pretty interesting gear.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues, including mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems

Performing routine maintenance tasks such as services and brake repairs.

Troubleshooting complex problems and implementing effective solutions

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient repair process

Staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Mechanic, with a focus on anything mechanical.

Strong technical knowledge and expertise in vehicle diagnostics and repair

Familiarity with a range of tools and equipment used in the automotive industry

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality work = no comebacks.

Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members

Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics

A trade certificate is required.

Australian citizenship is required for this position.

A truck licence is preferred for this role.

Newly qualified or experianced in hino, Isuzu, mitsubishi trucks are encouraged to apply.
