The Shire of Laverton seeks to employ a dedicated and enthusiastic person or persons to take on the cleaning of a number of Shire facilities. This is a casual position of between 20 – 38 hours per week. Early starts for some facilities will be a requirement as well as your own transport. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible employment to suit their current personal circumstances.

Must hold a current valid Australian driver's licence and own reliable transport

The position requires this person or persons to possess the following attributes:

Is self-motivated and can work independently.

Has a good knowledge of cleaning methods, cleaning equipment and cleaning products.

Minimum 6 months of professional cleaning experience in commercial or public facilities

Is able to work either in the morning or evening when the facilities are closed to the public.

Take pride in their work.

Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency with unrestricted working rights

Current National Police Check required (assistance may be provided for successful applicant)

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

In the position of cleaner, you will take responsibility for the cleaning and presentation of the Administration Centre, Great Beyond, Airport, Community Resource Centre, Town Hall, Youth Centre, Community Gym, Depot Office and other buildings as required. The positions renumeration will be $35 per hour inclusive of 25% causal loading.
