We are looking for an E-Bike Wheel Technician to join our team and help maintain our fleet of shared electric vehicles. This is primarily a wheel-building position, ideal for someone with previous experience who enjoys hands-on mechanical work and ensuring vehicles are safe and operational.

Hours 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM (subject to change)
Pay $32.31 per hour plus super

What you’ll do

Ensure operational compliance and safety of all electric vehicles, including inspecting, and maintaining wheels

Perform a variety of repairs from basic maintenance to complex electronic parts replacement, with a focus on wheel building and repair

Work both in-field and in the warehouse as required, including assembling, repairing, and replacing wheels

Maintain safety and hygiene standards within the warehouse

Maximise the number of operational vehicles by efficiently completing assigned tasks, prioritising wheel maintenance where needed

Identify issues and find creative solutions to overcome obstacles related to wheels and overall vehicle functionality

Safely operate a pallet jack or push cart regularly

What we’re looking for

At least 18 years of age

Valid Australian Drivers Licence

Previous experience in wheel-building or as a mechanic in automotive, bike, or transportation industries

Ability to lift up to 30 kilograms regularly

Comfortable using mobile devices and app-based workflows (iOS experience preferred)

Good communicator who can read and follow instructions and work well in a team

Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
