ELECTRICIAN/ FIELD TECHNICIAN

Location: Cunderdin Solar Farm - local Perth candidates can apply.

Base salary $128,440 plus 12% Super

Plus, Meal Allowance paid as per award

Overtime paid at award rates

Accommodation in Cunderdin supplied

Roster:

8 days on, 6 days off.

9.5 hour days plus 30 minute break (10hr day).

We’re seeking motivated, organised and independent field technicians to play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our solar farm’s operations.

You will be responsible for:

Performing routine maintenance on equipment

Diagnosing and troubleshooting various project systems issues

Developing standard operating documents for machine maintenance, operations and training

Overseeing and supervising sub-contractors

To be successful in this role, you will have:

The ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, manuals and schematics

Valid electrical qualifications license

HV electrical qualification desirable

Valid Australian drivers license

Experience in electrical maintenance and repairing various types of electrical equipment with preferred experience in renewables and solar

Willingness for some roster flexibility for on call and emergency works where required

Sound computer skills

You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train. Employment in this position is conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical screening.

Availability for on-call duties outside of regular hours may be required for certain shifts
