About the role

Are you an experienced plumber looking to join a reputable and growing local plumbing company? Richard Walker Plumbing, a full-service plumbing company based in Berkeley Vale, NSW, is seeking to fill two rolls for a highly skilled and reliable Senior Plumber and a qualified and willing to learn Junior Plumber to join our close-knit team. These full-time role offers the opportunity to expand your skillset working across a broad range of plumbing areas.

What you'll be doing

Perform a wide range of plumbing installations, repairs and maintenance tasks to the highest standard

Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, recommending and implementing effective solutions

Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice

Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards

Maintain a clean and tidy work environment

Support the team in achieving company goals and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Mentor and provide guidance to more junior plumbers (Senior Plumber)

What we're looking for (SENIOR)

Fully qualified plumber (preferred Cert 4 and Licence)

Strong technical knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures and fittings across most of the following areas: residential maintenance, commercial maintenance, new builds, renovations, gas works, stormwater and drainage

Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills

Exceptional customer service orientation and communication abilities. Proven ability to convert sales and repeat business.

Ability to work independently, as a part of a team and as a team leader

Valid full driver's licence

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Experience operating a 1.8 tonne excavator (preferred)

Participating in the on-call roster

Commitment to building a good culture

What we're looking for (JUNIOR)

Fully qualified plumber (Cert 3, working toward or have Cert 4 and licence)

Good technical knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures and fittings across some of the following areas: residential maintenance, commercial maintenance, new builds, renovations, gas works, stormwater and drainage

Willing to take direction and learn from other team members on skill building

Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills and willing to work on improving

Good customer service orientation and communication abilities and willing to work on improving

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team under leadership

Valid full driver's licence

Commitment to safety and quality workmanship

Experience operating a 1.8 tonne excavator (preferred, not essential)

Participating in the on-call roster
