Package range: $108,057 - $128,149. Package includes salary ($95,630-$113,411 per annum) employer's superannuation and annual leave loading (salary offered will be based on experience).

About the role

We’re seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of students by joining our team of teachers at Wagga Wagga Campus. We have one permanent full-time position on offer as either a Teacher of:

  • Agricultural Mechanical Technology, or
  • Auto Electrical

Essential Requirements:

  • Have appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate III in Agricultural Mechanical Technology Industry OR Automotive Electrical Technology.
  • Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training (see the candidate support document (here) for details ) OR a willingness to undertake our full time 14 week 'Paid to Learn' course.
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience relevant to your industry.
  • For Auto Electrical Applicants: Hold a Fair-Trading NSW tradesperson certificate (license) in the class of “Automotive Electrician” OR if applying from Interstate only, applicants must be eligible to obtain a Fair-Trading NSW Tradesperson certificate.

Highly regarded but not essential:

  • Hold an ARC refrigeration license.

Paid to Learn: for candidates who do not hold an appropriate VET teaching qualification or equivalent, you have the option to be paid to learn as you transition from industry to teaching with guaranteed work following successful completion of the 14 weeks Training and Assessment course. Those who already hold the appropriate teaching qualification or equivalent are still eligible to apply.
