The Eltham College Foundation Ltd trading as Little Flyers operates a number of child care and early learning Centres across Melbourne. Laurimar Township Child Care and Kindergarten is currently seeking flexible and reliable Room Leader.
This is a full-time position.
Our Centre provides a creative, safe and nurturing environment that enhances each child’s curiosity and natural desire to learn. This inspirational atmosphere celebrates the importance of play and encourages children to discover, question, create and to investigate possibilities about themselves and their world. We offer a Reggio Emilia approach and provide a stimulating, interactive and nurturing learning environment, which encourages each child to reach their full potential.

Candidate’s Requirements
• Diploma in Children’s Services
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and Child Safe Certificates
• Must have knowledge of Early Years Learning Framework
• Current Working with Children Check

When the Foundation entered the child care arena in 2002, it did so with the assistance of Eltham College’s wealth of experience in Early Learning. Whilst significantly influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach to early learning, our Centre programs are founded in best practice early learning and care principles from across the world. As educators, our role is to nurture a child’s curiosity and encourage them to find their own solutions.
