The Flinders Ranges Council invites applications for the above position currently available within The Flinders Ranges Council Works Department, based out of the Quorn and / or Hawker Works Depots.

The position is a full-time permanent position working a nine (9) day fortnight. A current HC driver’s license is considered essential for the role. (Persons holding a lower classification license will be considered where they are prepared to obtain the HC license prior to commencement).

Conditions of employment for the position will be in accordance with the Local Government Employees Award and The Flinders Ranges Council Enterprise Agreement No. 12 – 2025. The position has been classified as Grade 7 with an hourly rate of between $33.6856 and $35.6312 (indicative and depending on skills, qualifications and experience).

The position reports to the Leading Hand – Works and the Team Leader – Operations.

The position may involve work on weekends, public holidays and at times outside of normal business hours.
